CIDCO unveils its highest-ever budget of ₹14,130 Cr driving key projects like NAINA, International EduCity, Ulwe Coastal Road, Kharghar-Turbhe link road and International Business District

CIDCO on Friday unveiled its highest-ever annual budget of ₹14,130 crore for 2025–26, focusing on projects like Navi Mumbai Airport, metro lines, housing, and water supply. VC & MD Vijay Singhal called it a “landmark and ambitious” step toward faster urban development and greater transparency.


Singhal said major projects like the Navi Mumbai Airport, NAINA, metro network, and International EduCity are at critical stages, with significant funds also allocated to water supply and connectivity to ensure timely delivery and public relief.


Key allocations include ₹6,868 crore for general development, ₹3,251 crore for housing, ₹1,120 crore for water, and ₹625 crore for metro work. Other priorities include ₹653 crore for railways, ₹1,073 crore for township development, and ₹527 crore for NAINA.


The budget also backs initiatives like the Thane cluster redevelopment, Ulwe Coastal Road, Kharghar-Turbhe link road, and the International Corporate Park, aiming to boost connectivity and economic growth. CIDCO officials say the budget emphasizes accountability and efficient administration.
